Meet Our Team
Ben Ovens – Head of Training
Ben has over 20 years’ experience in the tool and construction industry and has been delivering health and safety training for over 10 years. He leads our training team, ensuring all courses are delivered to the highest standards and fully compliant with HSE regulations. In his spare time, Ben is Chairman of a local football club and manages a youth football team, combining his leadership skills on and off the field.
Katy Ovens – Operations and Business Development
Katy has worked across multiple industries, including construction, business operations, and customer relations, bringing a broad knowledge of organisational management and client engagement. She is driving Solent Training Solutions forward to reach its full potential and ensure a seamless training experience for all clients. Katy is also actively involved in the local football community as a divisional secretary for a youth league as well as a club secretary, supporting the next generation of players.
Together, Ben and Katy combine industry experience, operational expertise, and a passion for community involvement to make Solent Training Solutions Limited a trusted partner for professional health and safety training.
