Level 1 Food Safety - Manufacturing

Food handlers and their employers have a legal duty to manage food safety. These responsibilities are set out in a range of UK and EU legislation, which require that food prepared, cooked, served, or sold is safe for human consumption. Failure to follow food safety standards can result in contamination with potentially fatal consequences.
This Level 1 Food Safety – Manufacturing course provides an essential introduction to food safety awareness within food manufacturing environments. It explains how food safety risks arise throughout the production process, from delivery to service, and how these risks can be controlled and prevented.
Training staff through this online course helps improve awareness of food safety hazards and supports compliance with legal obligations across manufacturing operations.
Please note: this course is Level 1 in terms of subject knowledge only and does not lead to a formal Level 1 qualification.
