Level 2 Food Safety - Retail

Food handlers and their employers have a legal duty to manage food safety in line with EU and UK legislation. These laws require that any food prepared, cooked, served or sold is safe for human consumption. Failure to follow food safety standards can lead to contamination, which may result in serious or potentially fatal consequences.
This Level 2 Food Safety – Retail course is designed to build on basic food safety knowledge and provide learners with a clear understanding of how food safety risks arise in retail environments and how they can be effectively controlled and prevented.
