Licensed Premises Staff Training

The alcohol licensing laws of the United Kingdom regulate the sale and consumption of alcohol and are designed to protect the public, prevent crime and disorder, and promote responsible retailing. Anyone working in licensed premises must have a clear understanding of these laws and how they apply to their role.
This course provides a practical overview of UK alcohol licensing legislation, focusing on the four key licensing objectives. It explains how licences operate, the mandatory conditions attached to them, and the responsibilities of individuals and businesses involved in alcohol retailing. The course also addresses age verification, drinking guidelines and ways to reduce conflict in licensed environments.
