The Working in Confined Spaces – Awareness course is designed to provide learners with a clear understanding of the risks, hazards, and control measures associated with working in or near confined spaces. The course explains the relevant legislation, identifies what constitutes a confined space, and outlines safe working practices, communication requirements, emergency arrangements, and rescue considerations.
This is an awareness-only course intended for individuals who need to understand confined space hazards but are not required to enter confined spaces as part of their role. Learners who are required to work in or near confined spaces must also complete appropriate approved practical training at the required level.
